Hi I’m Andrea, the fiber artist of Salt to Sea Fiber Arts.
Hailing from Syracuse, NY (the Salt City) I moved to New London, CT (the Whaling City) after college and have now made the southeastern Connecticut shoreline my family home.
I’ve had my hands on crochet hooks, yarn skeins, embroidery thread and sewing machines since my pre-teen years (thanks mom/grandma!) but only in the last decade have I shaped those growing skills into real craftmanship.
I adore bright and vibrant colors and seek to produce coziness and joy in all my products. We can probably blame the October to May grey skies in Central, NY form my affinity to color, all the color! New fabrics and fiber types in all the colors of the rainbow bring me intense happiness. Thanks for visiting!
